UNS C23000 are an alloy of copper (Cu), which contains small amounts of other unknown components. The key factor of the copper anode is the silicon- and iron-related impurities in the anode, the anode's chemical composition of the anode is typically consists of 95.0-96.0% copper and 1.0-3.0% zinc. This is based on the basic features of being very easy to shape, having good resistance to corrosion and providing excellent electrical conductivity which would make it ideal for plumbing, electrical components and building projects. It falls under ASTM B134/B134M and is considered as Grade 230 in accordance with the ASTM B134/B134M standard specification of brass wire.
