AISI 5115 is a low-alloy steel incorporating chromium with the additional elements of manganese, carbon and others. Its chemical composition involves 0,13 to 0,18% of carbon, 0,70 to 0,90% of manganese, 0,70 to 0,90% of chromium, 0,035% of phosphorus and 0,040% of sulfur.
